I am still really new to using BI, maybe a month or so. I am getting video drops through the web interface. I don't believe it is a network issue, but I am sure it is something I am overlooking/user error.

Web interface will allow me to log in, then after a few minutes it starts acting up and dropping out. See screenshot.

Anybody ever have this issue occur, or have any idea as to why this is happening. The server is solid and is not crashing, ISP pushes about 94+ mbps downlaod, 93+ upload. Running on a TP Link Archer 5400 router. Kept everything on port 81.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

That definitely looks like a network issue to me. The problem could be occurring anywhere between your BI machine and the device you use to open UI3. If you want to try to investigate further, try a tool like PingPlotter Free | PingPlotter

1) what is the CPU load and memory utilization on the BI PC
2) Run UI3 on the same machine as the BI console . What is the system cpu and memory ? do you have the problem ?
3) on a pc hardwired to the network that The BI computer is on run the UI3 console. do you have the problem.
4) are you accessing the BI computer UI3 via WIFI ?
5) are your cameras WIFI ?

I think something is going on with my router. User interface is acting funny with the router and I am seeing lag on my laptop and phones. Going to try to wipe firmware and start fresh.

Once I rebuilt everything, if I continue to get errors, I will write back.

This caught my eye:

Is Win 10 installing an update, like 1703 or 1709 ? Try <CNTR><ALT><DEL> and look at Win Task Manager Performance "Disk" without BI and see if still elevated; could be Windows Update, Windows Prefetch or Windows Search.

Disk space is reading off the OS HDD so the % is based off of the clips archive. I deleted a bunch of clips and downsized the storage days and that dropped dramatically I have everything recording direct to disk on another HDD, just ordered a new 8TB Purple today so once that comes in I will move everything to that. I am thinking the router either has corrupted firmware or is just going bad after a few years. About to factory reset and flash the firmware. Then reset all IP addresses and try again and see what I get. Win 10 Pro 64 V1803 on server. No update going on.

So it was a networking issue. I reset router back to factory settings, flashed back to an old firmware, then updated to the most recent firmware. TP Link C5400 router is a little off with the port forwarding. I setup the port forward in the Virtual Server setting and port 81 was tested and open with the server connected directly to the router, but I needed to turn on DMZ setting to get it to work, but it seems to have fixed the issue as of now. Running for the last 2 hours without problems.
