So i have 8 cam's in BI

Hard drive local C and Extra Hdd: E

All my recordings should go to: E, But i some stuff goes to C also.

This is for video files...only

My settings are:
In BI under settings tab / clips and archiving / paths are:
>database path to E:\bi backup folder
>folders path E: \bi backup folder

Now for each camera in settings, witch is under /camera settings/ properties / video / configure (under device type) i have:
Cam 1,2,3,5 set path: /1/h264major
Cam 4,6 set path: /mpeg
Cam 7 set path: /streaming/channels/1
Cam 8 set path: empty

So can anyone advice , why do i get recordings going to my local drive C?

Thank you!!!

Leave the database on fastest drive.
go to clips and archiving and set the new and stored folder to your desired path.

"Leave the database on fastest drive."

Have C Drive Local Win10 on a SSD 240GB Fills up really fast as i am recording 24hr's/day.
So i pointed to E Drive is regular sata drive 500gb.

Oh, i did not check that drop down for option "new" path setting. Thank you for helping!
