It happens. But the nice thing is any gremlins that built up over time are gone.

I rebuilt mine recently and RAM dropped by a third after the rebuild.

That's why I run regular backups and a weekly clone of my boot drive, to avoid rebuilding BI if all else fails.

People never listen. I preach doing backups to everyone AND a brick wall because the brick wall pays more attention...
