No stupid questions, only stupid people but i'm new so sue me...

Hikvision NVR's... Have native software but is it possible to install BI on one after purchase?

Not worrying about voided warranties, voided bladders or what not, just wondering if it is possible. Maybe its just where i'm looking but i'm reading mixed things on this.

No problem. The only firmware that will run on standalone NVR's is developed by the manufacturer. If you go the PC route you can switch to any pc based VMS you wish (and can afford).
