Ready to make the jump from my Lorex system to BI. Going to buy a refurb computer for dedicated BI use. Just curious out of the computers below, which would be recommended? I'll most likely have it on a shelf on my rack system, or on the desk below.

1) 32 GB Memory - 1 TB SSD & 3 TB HD - i5 8500 - $329

2) 16 GB Memory - 512 SSD - i5 6500 - $179

3) 16 GB Memory - 512 SSD - i5 6500 - $179

4) 16 GB Memory - 512 SSD - i5 6500 - $199

5) 32 GB Memory - 1 TB SSD - i5 6500 - $209

6) 32 GB Memory - 1 TB - i7 6700 - $279

I would even consider spending slightly more on one of the Mini Dell Optiplex or the HP Mini Desktops just to save a little space in the area where I am installing the equipment

The CPU generations on your list is a bit old. I would recommend something newer. There are many, many threads on this topic.

My advice:
#1: Make sure there is a slot for a low-power Nvidia card so you can run CodeProject.AI efficiently.
#2: Best to have room for 2 3.5" hard drives.

Every single link is overpriced and old...ebay is your friend...You dont say what your load is going to be....

I run cpai on all my machines with no card with no issues...

7-10 IP cameras
10 1mp cameras at 5fps or 10 8mp cameras at 20fps.....big difference
code project AI ads to that as welll...
dont even consider a system below 8th gen...they wont support w11...that 8th gen system you posted for 379 can be had for 100-120 on ebay...

Good to know. If you can post a link or two for good pc on eBay. I’m more of a Mac guy. The intel generational stuff I’m out of the loop on
