BI Clip DB location

Hi,

I think that I'm mis-reading/understanding this subject and am hoping for clarification on where to place the clip database.

I've read through this wiki article which suggests to store it on a SSD along with the OS. In the application, it states "Important! Database and New should remain on the Local/Fast storage".

I have a 240GB SSD for OS and BI and a Seagate Skyhawk HDD where the videos are stored & specified under the Folders settings. The DB is on that HDD right now- should I move that to the SSD and if I do, will it cause any problems with my clips, etc.?

This comes up too often. db and alerts on SSD. New on HDD. Don't use stored, unless you have another HDD or NAS you want to move old files to.
