BI Audio missing with Remote Dektop

Running 5.3.9.13
BI works great locally, through the mobile app and also through the UI3...I can hear audio just fine. The problem is when I Remote Desktop to my BI machine, there is no audio when I am using the BI app. If I access the BI server through Remote Desktop and then through the UI3, the audio comes through the RD connection...just not if I am accessing the app directly. So strange. Any thoughts?
 
It is a known issue that audio will not work with Remote Desktop. BI developer has said that is an issue that cannot be resolved. It will work if you do not run BI as a service, but then if it craps out it will not restart.
