best way to backup BI settings before changing out hard drive

my BI sits on a 8tb drive that is slowing down and I need to replace it. the whole BI is on my X drive , what do I need to do copy to USB? export to USB? do I have to do each camera one at a time?
I wish I knew about allocating file sizes to 1 meg before the issue

Why don’t you just image it to new drive?

Last week I used Macrium Reflect 8 Free to clone a Windows 10, 1TB spinner onto a half-as-big Samsung 870 EVO SSD.....took one hour, I walked away and came back...DONE.

As stated, it can clone from a bigger drive to the smaller one; no problem with Windows activation or any of the the client's programs. New lease on life for a local realtor's Walmart HP 22-c0063w All-in-One PC. It's a lower-tier Celeron CPU with only 4GB of RAM and it was VERY slow, especially on boot up.

Now it goes from a 2-3 minute boot up to waiting for you in less than 20 seconds.

Why don’t you just image it to new drive?

I need to install BI on the C: drive right now the whole BI is on the X drive not just the videos
