I'm sure this question has been asked many times before but one more time if you don,t mind. I'm presently drowning in data.

My system will need to work with BI, and need to handle 6 cameras (3 poe & 3 WiFi), with HD resolution and 15 to 20fps. However, they will all be streaming only on motion sensing basis. May stream live now and then when I'm remotely monitoring, but they don't all have to stream live at the same time either.

Looking for something that is small, (mini), but room enough for 4Tb data storage. Or, I could store video data files on an external drive.

So, the question is can anyone point me in the right direction for a good computer for my application?

HP Elitedesk 800 G1 with i5 processor. Get it on ebay for about 350-400 bucks.

Not sure how small/mini you want but what blake recommend is a good choice.

If it's mini I would probably go with the HP ProDesk 600 G1 via ebay:
i5-4590T (Should be more than enough for your 6 cameras)
i7-4785T

I have an alienware alpha (i7-4790) with 6TB external drive in a USB3 enclosure used for storing clips.
