Im configuring ip cameras back to h264 + from h265 , i need to know how much bandwidth im using and have available but im confused which info display it on my nvr. Camera 1 once showed bandwidth error in camera management (webpage version) . if the 4 camera is setup to high eg 12mbitrate it would not show or cause 3 camera display poor resolution eg 640 480.
i have hikvision nvr DS-7604NI-K1 / 4P

I found this reference file helpful in configuring bandwidth settings for h.264, h.264+, h.265, and h.265+; your mileage (accuracy) WILL vary.

At the HikVision download site, they have a few flavors of bandwidth calculators... some take actual measurements from your active network, others are purely manual.
