I had been trying to do an update from BI... when it prompt to do it... It start... but it stop after one or two seconds...

Shut the software off and update from the website. Remember to download the correct version 32 or 64 bit. http://blueirissoftware.com/updates/
I got this problem set when I reinstall Kaspersky and BI 4... I did clean my registers with CCleaner too and remove the BI files on the C:\ .... So the problems all come from the old BI3 wich I could not remove properly with the uninstall from BI3
