Audio encoding configuration

what are your audio encoding configuration?

I currently have G.711ulaw selected, should I consider another one? which setting to select too?

if it matter this is on a DS-2CD2087G2-LU located outside

The best option is to use MP2L2 or AAC codecs, but you need to proceed from the acoustic conditions at the site.
