Hi guys,

With the help of this forum and Fenderman, I assembled the following:

IPC-HDW5231R-Z x4-5
IPC-HDW4231EM-AS x1 (inside garage)
NVR5216-4KS2
2*4tb WD purple drive
Some Bulk Cat6 wire, cAT6 solid plugs, Crimper... from Monoprice

PoE switch is where I'm debating:

Ubiquiti UniFi Switch US‑16‑150W
or
ZyXEL GS1900-10HP

I do have a regular unmanaged switch (4ports) and my ASUS RT‑N66U Wireless Router (That i might upgrade in the future). I'm asking about the switch as I also have my TV, Xbox, Bluray player and FireTv all hard-wired on the network too.

Thanks

Looks like you covered everything minus your traditional tools you may need for the install. As for the switches, don't thin you can really go wrong with either.

You could buy 1 6Tb drive to start with. That's the max size the NVR can handle (total of 2 drives, 6Tb ea). That way if you add cameras you can add another 6Tb and not kick yourself for buying 2x 4Tb ones. =)

Good call and I think i'm gonna go with the ZyXEL GS1900-10HP for now....and use my unmanaged non-PoE switch for the rest of my stuff
