How many FPS? What bitrate? How much time do you wish to archive?

The highest frame rate, number of pixels and bitrate possible. I'm curious how many days and hours it would take to fill the hard drive with both cameras.

highest possible is mostly a waste of diskspace.. the quality difference between lets say, 8Mbps and 15FPS and 10Mbps and 30FPS is minimal.. but the storage differences are considerable.

As peoples here always says one who needs a four channel NVR/DVR. He always needs to buy an eight channel. In future you can upgrade your system without investing so much on it.

Me also suggest the same, go for a 8 Channel NVR
