Anyone have their NVR in the cloud?

I was wondering if anyone has their cameras and switch/network on-prem and their NVR off-site. I have a 10GB uncapped fiber connection and still have the AT&T 1G fiber I was planning to cancel but ... I was considering moving the NVR to the cloud.

I have a modest setup, 3x 2MP Hikvision Bullet, a 3MP bullet, 2x 4MP domes, and a 8MP turret. I plan to add a couple more 8MP

The cost of elec. is not $70/month for this server so fiscally speaking it'd be cheaper to just cancel the AT&T service but with a UPS and 2 fiber links, it's worth considering moving it off-site imo.

Anyone done this here?

Keep your current NVR and then use cloud as a duplicate backup.

Entirely cloud recording does open the possibility for another part of the chain to go wrong and then you have no footage.
CCTV is a security device, it should not have unnecessary points for extra failure possibility.
