Any Point In Having a 4mp NVR with 8mp cameras?

Probably a stupid question but I'm not understanding this bundled system. Does it make a difference on video quality or?

if you using the 7600 NI E2 series nvr. if you record motion only. the video clip will be choppy even run one 8mp. I haven't try continue recording then swapped out the nvr.

No point you would have to run them at 1080p even a 7600 nvr will struggle with more than 4,8mp cameras running full resolution.
