This shouldn't cause it, but check the battery on the motherboard to see if it's run down. Do this with the power dis-connected.

Still, strange it run without issue for 2 to 3 years, and now have this problem at every reboot.

Hi All, I've got this NVR and it keeps losing some settings on reboot, It will lose all my camera passwords and also the Timezone setting. The Admin password sticks and is fine, wonder if anyone else has come across this?
They advise firmware update.

I restored to factory settings my NVR.
No firmware upgrade because it tells me I have the latest version (2018!).
I re-set everything. Everything works.
I didn't have courage to try rebooting yet.

I didn't have courage to try rebooting yet.
I did a full NVR firmware upgrade thanks to Configtool. I will see at next reboots if the problem is corrected. In the meantime, the newer interface is much better.
