Another bad Egret day

Wow that is a nice catch, I have a bird of some type in my neighborhood that is hunting the pigeons that are nested in one of my trees. I've come home to feathers everywhere. I always feel bad, as if it isn't a predator bird that is killing them it's my husky that is hunting them.
I believe that was a hawk of some sort.
We have a Ginormous owl that hangs out in the big oaks in the backyard, he keeps the squirrel population in check.
