So personally I prefer the 2017 version on 99% of my 841's but thought I would mention that the Amcrest Firmware page does offer the 841 V1 and V2 a new update dated in Dec 2024.. Not sure what is different from the last firmware from 2020 but just thought I would share that info incase you were wanting to update to something newer on your 841's from years past..
Only thing I don't understand is that the New Update still only works in Chrome Or Edge normal. So the things missing after the 2019 update is still missing.. No 2 way audio and playback kind of strange.. Again that is one reason i still like the 2017 FW and use for most of my 841's..
