Update: The claims department for Amazon (ARC, not sure if it's owned by Amazon), has given me an electronic check in the amount of the items plus tax that they damaged. It did take a call to their claims department to ask why they have been sitting on this claim for over a month. They say they are very backed up with property damage claims from the winter and holiday season.

You would think for someone with such a keen business sense, Bexos would get on top of losses and claims. There's no point having a very profitable business if it haemorages cash at the other end through losses.

Yep, especially when it doesn't cost them anything to prevent those losses. Simply stay on paved areas.
