Amazon purchase in a hurry

I see some cameras available on prime but list them as international versions. What exactly does that mean? Normally I wouldn't purchase from Amazon but they're on prime and fulfilled through Amazon - typically the most reliable way to count on return support.

Ok yeah, that's what I figured. It only says international version, not that it has English language. Good to know Andy has stock of some cameras.

@shockwave, from what I recall from reading here, Dahua makes two types. Chinese versions for in country, and International versions for everywhere else.

Firmware language, updatable firmware, no law enforcement back door, etc.

Someone will chime in and correct or add to that.

Yeah it's very tempting to to grab a couple cameras at a good price via prime fulfilled by Amazon and have them in two days flat. They're just being popped onto a dahua poe nvr. But English language is a deal breaker, lol.

My latest Hik came from Amazon UK on prime. All was good.

The seller was a gold certified seller or whatever too. 3 years warranty.

Ive had good luck as long as I verified the model# matched the model# on the Dahua Intl site...
