Am I missing a setting?

I've been staying on 5.9.2.4 because every release I've tried after it has one consistent difference. I just downloaded the newest today to give a quick try and it's still got that difference. When I click on a clip in 5.9.2.4, it shows the entire recording (one hour's worth for me) with a marker for the clip I've clicked on (and it starts from that point).

Pic to hopefully help clarify:

The clip that I clicked on is where I've circled. It works every time. On any subsequent release, the ONLY thing in that playback line is the clip I've clicked on. I can't find a setting anywhere to make the newer releases work like version 5.9.2.4.

Check this question I posed and see if any of this pertains to your issue.

Thanks but... Yes (and no). It works when you click on it (for that particular clip), but returns to default every time and has to be clicked on for every single clip.

So, even when you check or uncheck the option in BI settings/Other/Auto crop alert playback? Your issue must be different than what I had.

Shoot, now I'm going to have to reinstall the latest release again to check. That option isn't in my current version. :p
