Alternate to Web Component to view in browser

Hi all,

At my work, the I cannot install the web components because its an .exe file and the Administrator has restricted these privileges.

Is there an alternate way of viewing my cameras Live View ?

Work computers have IE 8 & Chrome ver. 43
They will probably update in 2025

Edit: Followed instruction in this thread regarding Chrome NPAPI, but it didn't help

I'm not aware of anything off the top of my head...

There is a URL that you can type into your web browser to view the latest still image from the cam. Also, if you know any HTML/Web programming, you could always embed the live video RTSP feed into an HTML page and view it with the browser....Although, it would still require some type of plug in that could read the RTSP stream, which you probably don't have/can't install either...Plus, this would only be for viewing and would not give you the ability to change the image settings (brightness, contrast, etc.)
