I have a NVR set up in my barn to monitor livestock. We are in the heat of lambing season with our sheep at the moment. At this point our family has a rotating schedule by waking up every hour to look at the camera's to make sure everything is OK. My wife made a comment this evening "It sure would be nice if there was some sort of a alarm to alert us when the sheep start to lamb.
Is this possible to set up a alarm on these camera's? I have Andy's 5442 camera's and NVR. I am assuming a alarm will only be triggered with movement, but in a barn with livestock there is always some sort of movement. Is it possible to set the amount of movement before a alarm is triggered? Also, when remote viewing through remote view on a phone, will a alert go off?
