I note a few other threads on this subject but have not found a solution as yet so asking for help.
I have Australian channel 7732NI-I416P NVR recently purchased (May 2016).
I have a number of PC's and smart phones working to it remotely (static public IP, port 8000) using latest iVms4200 on PC's and iVms4500 V4.3 on mobile devices (Androids).
I have Motion and Line Crossing enabled, 24x7 arming, and linkage to Email and Notify Surveillance Center enabled (plus recording of course).
Email notifications and all other remote functions appear to work OK.
I have not tested this function on site as yet connected directly to the the internal network (ie with my phone on the same subnet) - only remotely via the Internet.
Have only tried a couple of devices so far (Androids), but when I try and set the alarm to ON there is quite a delay and then I get "connection failed".
An NVR at another site I monitor fails immediately with "Not Supported by Device" (but I have not configured this unit and suggest it would not be set to notify).
From the various links I have seen on relevant settings for Notify Surveillance Center, my configuration appears to be the same.
Any suggestions appreciated - especially if there is another port that is meant to be forwarded besides 8000 (I have seen RTSP 554 mentioned in one link but that had no effect).
