Hi,

I'm looking for a good ip-camera for home security, it will be used outdoor and in low light conditions.
With my limited knowledge I was planning on getting the new Ubiquiti G3, but have understood that there are other good alternatives.

I want to use the camera(s) in my home automation system which currently consists on Home-Assistant.io so if the camera can send motion alarms through snmp, mqtt, ifttt or similar protocol it's great!

If it's possible to find a camera that uses wifi it would make installation easier..

It will cover an area of 0-10m in distance and preferable fairly wide.

I'm looking to pay < $150 preferably.

Is there any cameras out there that suits my needs , if so where can I buy them without risking to get Chinese models etc?
(I live in Europe..)

I'm happy for all the help that I can get :)

Longse LBW90S500 or LRDC60S500 (in 3.6mm or 5mm).

Ive got my camera's tied into my automation server via MQTT, using Domoticz automation engine, Dahua cameras and some code I wrote along with this module I wrote:

be weary of cheap Chinese cameras if you want to do any home automation hacking, You'll want to stick w/cameras that have a documented API so you can use em.. like this: ftp://ftp.asm.cz/Dahua/kamerove_systemy/_SDK&API/HTTP API/DAHUA_HTTP_API_FOR_DVR_V1.29.pdf

No WiFi, wires are for security.. wireless is for webcam.

and nothing wrong with Chinese cameras, as long as they have english firmware.
