We have moved away from using InstallShield as our installation software provider in favor of Advanced Installer. Resulting new considerations and caveats: (1) Running the new installer on a PC which previously used InstallShield may result in a duplicate entry in the Windows Installation Database–you should first uninstall the old version if you are completing a repair or reinstallation. (2) There is no longer a choice between 32 and 64-bit, this is now done automatically. If you must run Blue Iris 32-bit on your 64-bit system, this may now require a manual installation of the 32-bit update from the website.

I'm confused, for those if us that have not upgraded from version 4 yet, does this alter the upgrade process?
