I have a 7600 series Hikvision NVR and am trying to add a Dahua dome IP camera to it using onvif. My DVR has the 8 port POE and a private network with range 192.168.254.#. I know I will probably not have access to PTZ functionality which is ok. I changed the IP address of the camera to 192.168.0.108 for my network and can logon to it ok just to be sure the camera itself is ok. I have port 8 on my DVR available and I tried changing the Ip Address on the Dahua to the IP Address on that port (192.168.254.###), but I still cannot see the camera from the Hikvision DVR. I have onvif enabled on the NVR. Any help appreciated.
