Adapters included with Hikvision pendant cap

I'm wondering about the couplers/adapters included with Hikvision pendant caps, such as the PC140 shown below.



The photo shows the pendant cap with a coupler already threaded onto the pendant stem. I think that coupler then threads onto the male threads of a Hikvision pendant mount / mount extension. I'm curious about the coupler/adapter that appears in the left of the image above, with male threads on one end. What type and size are those male threads? It doesn't seem like those are intended to be used with the Hikvision pendant mount...?

Been a while since buying Hik's... I recall the extra couplings, but I never looked hard at them to figure out what options they brought. I have a bag of them for the scrap aluminum pile when I go to the salvage yard.

What I would like to discover is that the male threads on the coupler I pointed out are 1.5" NPT, which would allow me to use a connector/coupler like this to connect the pendant cap to a 1.5" NPT pipe.

Nope, unfortunately. All threads on the Hikvision pendant cap hardware follow BSPP (aka G) standards. For the included adapter with female to male threads, I can start turning the male threads into a NPT coupler, but it quickly gets tight, long before its threaded in far enough for a set screw to make contact. Sigh. At this point I'm thinking I should have gone with all Hikvision for mounting hardware or possibly with something like Clinton Electronics, instead of trying to adapt from a Hikvision pendant mount to other hardware like Video Mount Products or Clinton...
