Are the other 4 cameras showing live video and are recording OK?
What have you checked or tried before posting here?
NVR make/model; camera make/model?
NVR5208-8P-4KS2EMake and model nvr ?
Make and model of camera with problems ?
Did you make / terminate the connectors on the cable ? Is it a purchased cable ?
Have you take the camera down and tested it with a short premade cable ?
Did you add a new camera to the nvr recently ?
It must be that, although too little time. I will review it and tell you.The cable terminator connectors corrode over time. Take the camera down and test with a new short premade cable.
It is directly connected to the NVR. I can connect it to another free port and test. How can I tell which one is on the back of the NVR?It is also not unheard of for one POE port to go bad. I have had that happen to both NVRs and POE switches. In fact Just yesterday with a POE switch! LED IR was on but no image or ability to communicate with the camera, so I plugged it in to a POE injector and have the camera back.
Get a POE injector or a POE switch and see if the camera fires up.
