Hello,
I'm in the process of upgrading my NVR & Cameras. Right now I have the Funlux 720p with 8 cameras, which I'm not happy with. A friend of mine recommended an installer who uses OEM Hikvision/Dahua hardware (labelled Galaxy in Canada). The cameras that he is proposing seem to be decent and nothing special about them: Fixed dome Hikvision 4.1MP 2.8mm or 4mm. I'm just trying to understand the terminology to decide on the NVR!
one NVR is 8CH IP@50Mbps vs. another NVR 8CH IP@80Mbps, since both record: 8CH@20fps/CH what is the advantage?
What is the advantage of having 4MP camera if the NVR can record only (1080p) 2MP/CH if 8 cameras are connected?
Thank you in advance.
