The iDS-7208HTHI-M2/S Dvr will accept a 5mp input from the colorvu DS-2CE12HFT-F Camera.
However the camera outputs 2560 x 1944. But the dvr states it's hdmi output is:
HDMI output 1-ch, 4K (3840 × 2160)/30Hz, 2K (2560 × 1440)/60Hz, 1920 × 1080/60Hz, 1280 × 1024/60Hz, 1280 × 720/60Hz .
So how does the dvr process the picture ? Does it put out a 4k stream and streatch it? Does it letterbox it? I can't imagine it would chop 500 lines off and display in 2k.
