There is successor, it’s called WizMind-S aka S3 line of Dahua 5xxx proline. In Europe it is available from a few months. It contains SMD3, which should be upgraded to SMD4 this year.

no, firmware update. This is fresh hardware upgrade (Series 3), with a new much more powerful SOC/CPU. There were 3 features didn’t done in first original firmware, in Mai they added AcuPuck (AI mode), we wait for SMD4 and Time Division Exposure.
There will be no hardware upgrades for 5xxx line in next two-three years.

It looks like older WizMind S2 camera. It have SMD 3.0 (after firmware update to latest one from Volt line), but no chance for SMD4 or any WizMind-S specific functions (older HW).
