What is your computer hardware?
I have 12 Dahua cameras recording 24/7 and only get 30% usage.

If you are running blue iris on an Intel later generation processor you can not take advantage of hardware acceleration with h.265.
If bi what is your system configuration ?

X2 on @SouthernYankee’s thought about H.265. Takes extra processor power to decode that. H.264 shouldn’t, if you have the BI option to use hardware acceleration enabled.
Do you have all of these cameras configured for direct-to-disk? If not, BI will be transcoding the signal which adds even more overhead.

Those settings are fine and not the source of your problem. You shouldn't be hitting 80%+ with the i5-3470. I run a Dell 7010 with one of the same, 12 cams some at higher resolutions/rates than yours, and about the most that machine ever hits is ~55% and that's with the console open and usually only while running backups or something else is happening in the background. Maybe a rare peak up to 60-65. Normal state it usually sits at ~37%.
As above need to check your settings elsewhere. Turn off the H.265. Hardware acceleration on. Direct-to-disk.

Thanks guys. All cameras are direct to disk. I turned on H265 because when I selected H264, I was unable to see the Live View or any previews in the settings areas in the camera interface via Chrome.
