4MP and 8MP with Focal Length ...

After reading several threads it appears the forum in general favours Dahua as a brand. Still not sure why but good enough for me.

Just wondering if these specs exist for IP Cams be it from Dahua or any other reputable manufacturer ...

4MP, 1/1.8" sensor, focal length: 12mm and 20mm, IR Night Vision

OR

8MP, 1/1.2" sensor, focal length: 8mm and 12mm, IR Night Vision

Fixed and Varifocal are fine. Ideally <= $500 CAD per cam

The 5442-Z4E is a varofical 4MP on the 1/1.8" sensor that goes to about 34mm and has IR.

There is currently no 8MP on the 1/1.2" sensor that is varifocal, nor do any on that sensor see infrared.

Very good. Thanks. 5442-Z4E combined with 5442T-ZE should be able to handle all my needs.
