Hi all, 1st post. I was wondering if I could add a 2nd hdd using data and power splitter cables because my system only has a single connection for 1 hdd. I did connect a surveillance hdd with powered connection to the USB in rear of dvr and it did work for real-time backup. Just want to increase the amount of recording without having to buy a larger capacity hdd.
