2 cams, same picture problem

Hi.
i have 2 huisun cameras. on my homenetwork everything works fine. but when trying to connect from worldwide via explorer, i can log into both (different paswords) but i get the same pictures.

cam 1. has http port 80, rtsp 554, https 443 media port 8000.

cam 2. has http port 8888, rtsp 554, https 443 media port 8001.

when entering my external ip adress in explorer i get connected to cam 1. and picture is correct.

When entering my external ip + :8888 in explorer i get connected to cam 2, but it shows piture from cam 1.

all ports is opened in router.

any ideas?
 
wont work, it wants to load port RTSP and they both share the same port #, the way its configured now wont work unless you can change the RTSP port numbers on the camera config.

Use a VPN, portforwarding is bad.
 
Ojlyngboe I'm curious.did u test in hikvision ivms 4500 mobile app?

I would think it is because the rstp and https ports are the same. Since they are the same they can only tunnel thru to one IP address which is the IP address of cam1. I see that http and media are different between the two cams but I am guessing that either rstp (554) or https (443) carries the video feed which is why you are seeing the image from cam1 instead of cam2 when logging into the 2nd cam.

But what @nayr said is correct, the best option for both security and functionality is to setup a VPN then you can simply use the private IP addresses of your 2 cams to connect to each independently and correctly. You will see cam1 and cam2 feeds correctly because you are using different IP addresses for each cam. VPN really is your best choice in every way.

And the fact that you can see the image from cam1 when you are logged into cam2 with a different password would seem to confirm that these cams are not secure enough to be exposed to the open internet.
 
Ok, thanks for good help. Im not sure how to setting up vpn, but will try to find out.

The same problem in iwms 4500.

I don't see where he said they had different passwords? I tend to use the same password for all cameras at a single installation.
 
Crap. I reread that again before posting and missed the two passwords part the second time too. My bad.
