Hey guys, have been watching a lot of timelapses on the forum and just finished my first try on a timelapse with my new Dahua HDBW3449EP-AS-NI 4 megapixel IPcam.
I used a cronjob to save a (2704x1520 pixels) image to my webspace every 5 minutes.
Saved all images, almost 600, to my iPad and imported them in LumaFusion, a video editing app on my 2020 12,9" iPad Pro (4th edition).
The weather is a bit boring right now, so it's not that wonderful to watch
But it's very promising for future timelapses; can't wait for clear nights to try out the 'starlight'.
Before you ask: you'll see 1 or 2 frames with a laser light.
It seems a neighbour uses that to focus his amateur telescope.
Anyone else making timelapses of starry skies?
Maybe you have some tips or can post your own timelapse below?
