16ch HD(CVI or TVI) cctv system and must have 8ch audio. Suggestions?

Hey guys, I have a client who currently has 15 old garbage Cameras and a very old 16ch dvr with 8ch audio recording. He wants to upgrade to something much clearer (Megapixels) with 8 or 16 channels recording audio. He mentioned that his friend had to purchase 2 DVR's just to get all the audio channels he needed. I have seen a few different options, but they were all 960H or D1. He wants crisp. Like I can see the blades of grass crisp. What would you guys recommend? is there a reliable 16ch HD-TVI or CVI with at least 8ch audio DVR? NVR is not an option as I am not running new cables. Would I be better off with a Capture Card?
