I made a mistake and I purchased 7 Annke cameras and 5 Amcrest. I purchased a 16 cam Annke NVR. Will this work between the two different brands?

Also the person who ran the wires did not run them to the server room. The cameras go to 3 intermediary POE switches that then go to main server room where the main switch is and the NVR. Is it possible to use the NVR by connecting it to the main switch to pull all the feeds from the main switch?

You might get something going if the cams and the NVR are ONVIF compliant and enabled in all devices.

You could assign unique, static IP's to the NVR's LAN and all cameras, all in the same subnet and run the main switch to the NVR's LAN; if it's a POE NVR none of its POE ports would be used.

I believe most Annke cameras are made by Hikvision. And Amcrest cameras are made by Dahua.
