I am looking at the TFTP auto update tool. There is a config file. Inside the file is text: [lang] rc=tftprc_en.dll Will this cause a problem with a chinese camera?

Am I using the wrong firmware file? I am using the Baseline IPD_Raptor_En_V5.1.8 140616(Released).zip from Hikvision Europe. Do I need to install a Chinese 5.1.8 first and then updgrade back to the English version? Or can I mod the language value in the digicap.dav file?

Thanks for the reply. I tried using the TFTP tool and following directions. It never seems to find my 7284 instead sees my NVR. Even when I am only connected to the camera. So far I put TFTP file and the 5.1.8 dav in the same folder on my C: Drive. Changed my 7284 IP and IPV4 to 192.0.0.64...
