The Nelly one claims 3MP @ 30FPS iVMS-4200 doesn't offer a 30FPS option on my RCA.

I don't know if it affects the chime, but did you try adjusting the audio sliders in iVMS-4200 (Lite)?

If your doorbell is accessible on your lan, could you not connect to it via "iVMS-4200 Lite" Windows software, set the IP/user/password, select "Remote configuration" and view all the Device Information? Or any of the iVMS-4200 products -- I like "Lite" because it isn't so bloated DOWNLOAD EU...

Do you happen to have pictures of the LaView on this mount (front and back)? I am curious to see how well it fits and if drilling another hole would allow the mounting plate to be bolted to it at both ends. It is the only mount that I've seen that looks simple but has precise angle control.

The LaView has color night vision which the RCA does not have. Are you sure the firmware would be compatible and not tied to a specific hardware model #?

I didn't have to do anything. My account just works on both of them, although I did use Hik-Connect before EZVIZ and that app asked me to accept an upgrade to the account (not sure if that is relevant), but the one account still works in RCA/EZVIZ/Hik-connect.

It shouldn't. You should be able to use the same account in both apps. (same with Hik-Connect, Guarding Vision, Hik iVMS 4500 ...) They all use the same ezvizlife.com account.
