Noob question: Anyone have success connecting LAN out of Hik NVR (7716NI) to a MacBookPro using crossover ethernet? Thought all it would require was turning off wifi, connect x-over cable, manually set IP in Macbook network/ethernet settings, then enter NVR IP in browser. But no luck. Just want...
