Can't access WUI, but RTSP will stream

I have a generic IP camera, the instructions say to use PanoEagle AjDevTools, so I'm assuming it's some kind of clone. Strange thing about this camera is that it comes with a static IP from factory of 192.168.1.110, my network is 192.168.0.X, but I was able to log in to the web interface by...

Bricked SV3C IP 1080P Firmware help

Well, after desoldering and connecting it to my chip reader. Nothing, nada. same as if it were still plugged in. Maybe this reader is just not compatible. Don't know. I've officially given up. No way to program this chip.

Bricked SV3C IP 1080P Firmware help

I read in another place that the reason some chips can't be read in parallel is because when you input the VCC voltage, it sends that to the board and tries to boot. There are some solutions, you could put a 1000ohm resister before the nearest power source to the VCC to prevent the voltage from...

Bricked SV3C IP 1080P Firmware help

Yeah, powered off and disconnected from everything. My next idea will be to take the chip off completely and see if it will read. Another issue is that the programmer I'm using doesn't list an MX25L6436, only matches up to MX25L64... the rest don't come close. I'll take the chip off and see if...

Bricked SV3C IP 1080P Firmware help

Well, I tried and tried again and this programmer is not reading the chip. It won't detect it, it won't read it. Maybe i need better instructions. I tried hooking everything up before inserting the USB and many, many other things and that chip won't read.

    Rookie needs help

You could use no-ip.com and forward a port on your router. On your phone you would put the web address created at no-ip.com and port from router. In my Milestone Argus (WD NAS Server App), I have no-ip.com as madeupname.sytes.net:6000(not my real address or port). But my Argus software is user...

Bricked SV3C IP 1080P Firmware help

In all honesty, I could have just purchased another $40 camera instead of all these flashing equipment and thrown the camera in the trash. But I am enjoying this, great learning experience. Also, I'll be able to help friends if they ever have the need to flash a chip.

Bricked SV3C IP 1080P Firmware help

On the way tuesday. I've definitely put the lens back on. But during reading and flashing I'll have to remove it. hopefully no dust falls in. I know it's cheaper on ebay, but I've had better experience with Amazon and shipping is usually faster. If this works, I'll post the complete dump just...

Here is a picture of the other side because all the info i found on that 8-pin led to a 16kb memory chip. the MX25L6436F chip seems like the main memory.

I wouldn't say frustrated, i'm learning a lot and the less things work, the more i decipher from the thought-process behind the instructions received. If you do buy one, all you have to do to brick it is try upgrading the firmware. LOL.

None of these work, but i would like to try the erase command but i've tried erase 0x1b0000 5c0000 but most attempts are followed by "Error: end address (0x0078ffff) not in flash!"(0x0078ffff being different each time) if successful, i would have followed it with a cp.b 0x1000000 0x1b0000 5c0000...

For sure we have an invalid rootfsr problem, but it being squashfs or not is beyond my understanding. A question i have is that if "rootfs-r=0x00350000" shouldn't we be writing to update rootfs-r 0x1000000 0x0350000 1 I don't know much on this matter, and i'd probably brick it beyond repair...
