I can't say cheap customers. I have one that has 16 car washes and it's either a 16 or 32 ch system, and the 2mp dahua cvi's have done more than what they wished for. If we had done IP, the costs would have been more than double.

I just give my customers the choice between HD-CVI or IP, and most go with the CVI because of costs.

I have a customer that is being robbed blind from a couple of his stores and we are trying to figure out how to add a POS integration to his existing Dahua CVI dvrs. Has anyone been able to do this? or are there any other solutions that I'm not aware off? Thanks in advance

ok, I figured it out!! You must set the primary DNS the same IP as your router, do not use the ISP DNS, take a look at this screenshot, hopefully this will help you.

I been having the same issues as everyone else with the dvrs getting "hacked". Only this time, its a dvr that has the admin account with a different password, and the 888888 account deleted from the unit, even locally is not showing up. The 666666 account works, but is limited and only works...
