Hello! Last year we bought the lorex system from Costco that was praised so much at slickdeals. Lorex / Dahua OEM 6x 4K / 8MP security camera system w/ 8 port POE IP NVR 2TB HDD kit at Costco B&M YMMV for $799.99 And we added 2 of the starlight cameras that you'all recommended. Well lately...

plugged in both cameras to NVR and got account locked error.... logged in with 2nd log in and it is showing up.....

but.... but... but!!!!! these were men's cameras and not for women (cuz they didn't come with specific instructions and women read the instructions... haha... sorry... couldn't resist) so what i need step by step instructions for, then, is how to unscrew them so i can get them added to my nvr....

We did try that last night... it didn't work, but we'll try again this evening after work.

i even specifically asked, before ordering, if these would work directly with the costco lorex system and i was told yes... if i needed extra items (i.e. power) i wasn't told that and there is no power where we are placing them (if they ever work) which is why we have POE.

yes... directly into the computer... assumed they power that way since they are supposed to be POE. we do not have an adapter as we bought them specifically to add to the POE lorex system.

unfortunately we don't have a 12v power adapter (we bought these as POE to go with the lorex system. we did do the button press while attached to the computer (and also the nvr since we were trying everything.) we'll try that again this evening... i'll have to see what we can figure out with...
