Totally agree... but when PCI Compliance/Auditors want the latest Firmware on everything an excuse of "newer is not always better; and working is always better than broken" just will not cut it.

I love HIKVision Cameras but HATE their lack of support... I have several HIK's that i believe to be "Western Region" and it would appear that the Firmware that came with my latest purchase is newer than what is available on hikvision.com.au website... DS-2CD2042WD-I 20160917BBWR64XXXXXXX...
