I have an open ticket with Amcrest on my original issue and today I added a comment to the ticket asking them to check out this thread regarding the IR falre. Let's hope they do and can maybe et some traction from them on a fix.

After having the issue with the replacement, I decided to do some testing with the doorbell in a completely dark room inside the house. Both the original and the replacement were fine and did not show the IR Glare, so I figured it was coming from something that was reflecting the IR outside...

UPDATE #3 Amcrest sent me an RMA unit and I installed it yesterday. This unit still has the issue, but it appears to only be in the left side instead of both sides like my original camera. I have sent them the attached screen shot and asked what the next steps are.

UPDATE #2 After submitting a ticket at Amcrest support, they have advised me to RMA the unit as they think it may be a defect with some of their cameras. I purchased both of my units through Amazon so I am not sure if it is part of a bad batch or not. Will await for the replacement to arrive...

I seem to be having an issue where AITool is not disabling Pushover service when I uncheck it and click save as I keep getting notifications on my devices. I have looked at the settings.json file and double checked the GUI and they show disabled. AITool-VorlonCD-v2.0.759

Thanks for deleting the screenshot @bp2008. I did not realize that was there. I have not had any more issues since deleting teh cookies so it seems to be resolved.

Seems that I deleted the default camer and that is what is causing the error messages. I tried to create a new one named Default but that did not work, so I may just go ahead and re-install the AITool from scratch.

Thanks @Village Guy I looked at the AITool setting but do not understand where the Default Camera setting is. Can you explain more about how to confirm that a default camera is not selected?

Thanks fenderman. I ended up returning the Doorbird and getting a RING doorbell. If DB had let me capture an HD stream to BI that may have tipped the scales in its favor, but in all the Ring has better video and audio and it meets the WAF as well.

@WannaTheater It sounds like your cable modem is blocking the incoming connection on the WAN. Try logging into it and see if there are any port forwarding rules. If so forward port 1194 to your VPN server.
