Checking if anything new on the concerns yet. The power on doorbell, yep that would wake up the WHOLE house when the dogs went apesheet barking.
Wife's co-worker has ring and loves it, if it's not AT LEAST that good, it's a deal breaker.
Well at least you can tell the neighbor when the ghost left, and that it was a 4 door sedan, and that is about it.
I sent back my 2.8mm and 4mm is too wide too.
Thank you will give that a try in a bit on the phone.
The OLD tablet reports 100% dropped frames, so I see nothing at the moment, have to figure that one out later too, but at least I get some rec'd data now.
They look default to me 543 rtsp, 80 for the webpage, but I did see an 8000 go by, but I think that was for something else.
Which "camera" so you select, perhaps I did not spot the NVR selection that is in there someplace.
WCP, did you figure this out, trying to get Tinycam Pro to connect on the local lan that has the NVR and get that part working before moving on to outside access.
Thanks
Would someone mind posting EXACTLY how you configured your Tinycam Pro to get a stream from the Hikvision DVR?
Have not figured that out yet, must be choosing the wrong "camera"?
Indeed, want to put it as a camera to the NVR, not really interested in having a second android device recording the other android device and then having the NVR recording the cameras. The cameras in some of the phones are quite good in visible light. I may just put the IP Webcam on and see if...
The smartphone collection is expanding with a couple more solid Samsung devices with good cameras. Was wondering if any of the apps that let you turn your smartphone into a security camera support ONVIF or streaming that I could connect my Hikvision rebranded by nelly NVR to record from?
Not...
well zero sensitivity is zero motion, one problem solved, another created.
Since it's the sun and it moves, whatever I exclude at 5:00pm will not be the same as 1:00pm :(
Will go log into the camera via the nvr remote configuration and see if that works.
actually don't see line crossing as an option in the H-series DVR from Nellys, just the motion detection, took it down to 0 sensitivity will see what that does. None of the cameras I bought from Nellys have alarm, nor does the h-series dvr have spot that I recall. Eventually will put in a...
Hikvision NVR with Hikvision 4mm turrent (replacing with something tighter soon). I have motion detection going at 20% sensitivity on the walkway, porch on access to a window they could crawl into.
Everytime the sun goes in and out of the clouds it is "motion" and I get 3 TINY snapshots (what...
In our area there is no access from the attic to the soffits, they put blocking in there to keep the insulation from being moved around by air flow, and to keep it from being blown all out to the soffits when you put in the blow in insulation.
I look for a spot where the soffit is nailed to a...
Open not quite, but the only game worth considering is an Universal Devices ISY-994 with zwave integrated. Large community, lot a programming posibilities, ifft integration capable, etc..
Looks interesting for a close up face camera. Thinking I want some sort of small up close camera by the box we have packages put in from delivery places to catch a face of a thief poking their nose where it does not belong.
Perhaps Hikvision has a little less "hidden" small camera I could...
IVMS-4500, isn't that just the mobile versions? I cannot get any playback to work from that on an android tablet.
On the PC it's the IVMS-4200 as best as I can tell from the copy off Nelly's support site, and that has the groups and server tabs. The mobile 4500 version doesn't handle it that way.
Late to the 400+ thread here, compatible with which NVR recorders like hikvision or Dahua or this one a totally over the local LAN and try to get at it from the NVR from the outside the NVR LAN?
Not a fan at all of IE, and it seems to have stopped working with live view on the hikvision NVR.
Google chrome won't allow the webconnects plug in to run (is there a real HTML 5 version that works maybe)
and don't really want to install a 3rd browser and open up another hack vector if I can...
I am seeing some advantage to that and may put them onto the same subnet eventually to make life easier long term.
Going to have to plug in the laptop to see what the proper gateway is from the camera side, but one cannot tell if it's a gateway issue, a firmware issue with the cameras, a google...
I have NOT repeat NOT set the camera IP address, the NVR assigns that. It uses the 192.168.254.## range and skips around a little bit.
Part of my post was it was not saving the ip address, however after a reboot of the NVR and an upgrade of it's firmware the camera via remote is saving the...
Also I am finding the need for a lot more light out there in general. Put one of the HIkvsion owl turrents out there with a white car the black pickup is totally gone in the display. Will be adding some more lights at about eye level to the edges of the garage and probably another along the...
in the quest to get email notifications going as I am having a failure related to a gateway not being setup according to remote access to the camera through the NVR.
My NVR details:
Camera page showing the lack of a gateway.
The ip is being managed by the NVR, clicking DHCP and rebooting...
