    Basic motion alerts do work with all of my Dahua cameras but the caveat is you have to enable video detection/smart motion. Protect still does not recognize IVS rules. Using video detection caused me to get way too many false alerts.

    I can confirm with ver. 7.1.55 Protect will not work with my line crossing IVS rules, however it will send me alerts by using the cameras generic video/smart detection but you're going to get a million false alerts.

    I tried zerotier when I was new to all of this and could never get it to work. I have been using tailscale for over a year with practically no issues aside from an update changing my BI machines IP which was easily fixed by updating the new IP in BI and on my phones app.

    From what I was able to gather the do support the M profile. It could be a small setting I am missing but hopefully they end up being compatible I would love to be able to fully transition to Protect while not being forced to use their dog shit cameras.

    I’m on early access 7.1.55 and still not able to get any type of motion alerts to my protect with Dahua cams. I have seen recent posts on Reddit of people with cheap Tapo cams now getting onvif detections.

    I'm not sure what it has been set at but it was currently set to public so I changed it to private but that did not work. When I type in my tailscale IP :81 on my local machine I am able to log into the UI3 but I still cannot get my iPhone app to login. BI is set to run as a windows service.

    What do you mean by that? I only ever see one open at a time. Well update.....I updated to the one pushed out on 08.28. Compact and re-indexed the drive and it has seemed to fix the issue. Thanks for the help everyone

    So I deleted a bunch of old video from the drive manually and lowered the total storage to 6600 and 50, ran a DB repair, and restarted BI and the red over allocated bar just keeps increasing as I lower the total drive storage amount. My DB is on my C drive, the E drive is only used for footage.
